This is just like my music topic in Whatever because I only have one good idea for a topic. XD
I'd like to know what anime you're watching right now and maybe some quick thoughts about the show. (Good/bad, serious/funny, etc.)
Right now I'm watching Rozen Maiden (recommended by Jen, ) I watched the first episode of this show Sunday night and marathoned the other 11 episodes of the first season last night - it's THAT good, I couldn't stop watching. The story was cool, the animation was great, the character designs were almost too cute, and I love the funny moments in this one.
Up next, Traumend!
Also watching Naruto: Shippuuden (like I need to make a comment about this one, lol) and this show called Hitman REBORN... I've only seen a couple episodes, but it seems pretty funny so far, I'll keep watching. |

I thought maybe I should post somewhere other than our "go-to" topic...
I haven't been watching much anime for a while, so I've decided to get into some new shows. Most interesting so far has been a new show called Durarara!! It has a huge cast of characters and a pretty complex (but not confusing) story so far. I'm really enjoying it, especially the way events are occurring from different characters viewpoints and then seeing how the events are connected.
I'm also watching the new COBRA TV series (and OVAs). It's interesting enough and I love the 80s designs. I may have to check out the original TV show if I can find it anywhere. |

Cool! I watching Ghost Hound right now. It's pretty good so far. And Black Blood Brothers. I've only watched about four episodes by downloading it onto my PS3 and it is really good. ^_^
Hopefully I can watch some more anime. |

I haven't seen either of those, but I heard Black Blood Brothers was good.
Still watching the show's I mentioned last time, Durarara has gotten even more awesome. There was a pretty good plot twist that came up a couple episodes back.
Since I caught up to current episodes on everything else, I started watching Soranowoto. I guess you'd call it a moe show, it's about a military unit consisting entirely of young girls. (because it makes sense somehow, right?!) I don't really know where the story is heading, but the basics so far are that there was apparently a huge war (of the nearly ending the world variety) and most modern technology has been wiped out. There are "relics" (such as a walking tank) that are still left (in pieces at the moment,) but most things are more or less as advanced as 1930s-1940s. (except radio which does NOT exist... communication/orders to nearby soldiers is apparently done by trumpet lol.) It's entertaining so far, so I plan to keep watching. |
